Toon to drive through AZ move

Newcastle are set to launch a deadline-beating raid on AZ Alkmaar for £6million-rated Belgian left-back Sebastien Pocognoli.
Pocognoli, who is under contract in Holland until 2012, is on his way back from the Olympics after Belgium were knocked out in the semi-finals by Nigeria yesterday.
The 21-year-old recently expressed his desire to play in England or Spain, saying: "The decision [about my future] lies with AZ, but a chance to play in England or Spain would be sensational for me."
But French champions Lyon are leading the chase for the left-back as they seek cover for Fabio Grosso while Real Betis and Tottenham are also keeping an eye on Pocognoli.
