Wideman gives Keegan a fillip

Newcastle have been boosted by the news that Charles N'Zogbia will return to action in Saturday's final pre-season friendly.
The 22-year-old was the latest addition to the packed treatment room at St James', with the Frenchman sitting out the midweek 2-2 draw against PSV Eindhoven.
It would appear the injury was just a minor knock and Kevin Keegan is confident that the wideman will face Valencia and prove his fitness ahead of the season opener against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Keegan told the Chronicle: "Charles got a slight bang in the first game against Hertha Berlin in Majorca, but he will be fine for tomorrow (Saturday).
"He has been back in training this week, but Wednesday was just a bit too early for him."
Michael Owen and Mark Viduka will again be absent against the La Liga side because of injury, but there is an outside chance that Obafemi Martins will feature.
