Davies exits Sixfields

Northampton have cancelled the contract of midfielder Arron Davies.

Davies was midway through a two-year deal at Sixfields after joining the Cobblers last summer. He made 18 appearances for Northampton Town, scoring four goals following the move from Peterborough. But the former Southampton and Nottingham Forest man is now free to find a new club.
