Derby have admitted their interest in Northampton midfielder Michael Jacobs.

Jacobs, who will be out of contract in the summer, came through the youth system at Sixfields and has attracted the interest of several npower Championship clubs this season.
The Cobblers rejected a bid for the 20-year-old on Tuesday morning, although Derby boss Nigel Clough insists it did not come from the Rams.
"We are certainly aware of him (Jacobs) but no bid has been made," Clough told the Derby Telegraph.
"I am sure he might have the pick of a few clubs, so we will see how it goes. We will see what the situation is at the end of the season with him."
Because Jacobs is under the age of 24, Northampton would be entitled to a tribunal-set compensation payment if he was to leave the club.
