Town add Tottenham test

Northampton have announced an additional pre-season fixture against Premier League side Tottenham.

The Cobblers are already set to face a Chelsea XI this summer and have recorded a win over non-league Cogenhoe. But the npower League Two club have decided to bolster their schedule as they prepare for the new campaign. Andre Villas Boas' side will visit Sixfields on Saturday August 4, with the game kicking off at 3pm.
