Bennett close to return

Norwich have been boosted by the news midfielder Elliott Bennett is set to resume training next week.

The 23-year-old has been missing since the opening game of the season after sustaining a knee injury and has been missed by Norwich who have failed to pick up a victory in their first four games. The Canaries now face a tough run of fixtures as they take on Newcastle, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal as the pressure begins to build on new manager Chris Hughton. Bennett is hoping to get back in training with the first team next week and Hughton could even have him back in the side for the home game against Liverpool on September 29th. "He will be training next Monday and is making very good progress." Hughton said.
