Left-back Adam Drury and defender Zak Whitbread are unlikely to be fit for Norwich's trip to face Arsenal on Saturday lunch-time.

Drury suffered a groin injury during last Saturday's 3-0 defeat to Liverpool at Carrow Road and will miss out, while Whitbread continues to miss out with the calf injury which has sidelined him for the Canaries' five matches throughout April. Boss Paul Lambert could be tempted to hand recalls to captain Grant Holt and striker Simeon Jackson at the Emirates Stadium as his side bid to end a run of three successive Premier League defeats. Meanwhile, long-term absentees Marc Tierney and Daniel Ayala are ruled out for the rest of the season with respective groin and knee injuries. Lambert goes into the game delighted at ensuring the Canaries will enjoy a second season in the top-flight, but insists they must stay there next term in order to keep progressing. "The club has to grow," he said. "It was in a dangerous position a few years ago and still has debts hanging over it. "At least the club is safe at the minute but the reality is they need to stay in the league again. "My job was to survive. They have to survive next season. It's very simple."
