Canaries target eyes Rovers exit

Norwich's hopes of signing goalkeeper Mark Bunn have been boosted after he reportedly handed in a transfer request at Blackburn Rovers.
Canaries chief Chris Hughton has already had one bid, thought to be in the region of £500,000, snubbed for the 27-year-old shot-stopper as Rovers boss Steve Kean is looking to keep the majority of his squad together for a promotion push this season.
However, reports claim Bunn, who is again set to play second fiddle to Paul Robinson at Ewood Park this season, has made his feelings known by asking for a move from the Lancashire outfit.
Bunn, who joined Blackburn from Northampton in summer 2008, has been restricted to just 15 appearances during his time at the club which is why he is looking to gain some regular first-team football elsewhere.
That could see him snub a move to Carrow Road given that England international John Ruddy remains the first choice custodian at Norwich so the likelihood is that Bunn will also be a number two in Hughton's plans.
