Canaries to strengthen "everywhere"

Paul Lambert has admitted he will have to strengthen his Norwich squad "everywhere" if the Canaries are to stay up next season.
The Scot has done a fantastic job at Carrow Road this season with limited resources to make sure Norwich stayed up in their first season back in the Premier League, keeping them in the top half of the table for much of the campaign. However, a run of one win in seven matches has seen the Canaries slip into the bottom half of the league and there are fears the club could suffer from second season syndrome. Lambert has now said he is keen to strengthen his squad in the summer and says he will need reinforcements in every area of his team. "I think we have got to strengthen all over the pitch. I think you have got to do that," Lambert told Sky Sports News Radio. "I think you have got to go as high as you can go and I will try to strengthen as much as I possibly can for Norwich. I have done that every year and it's important that the club doesn't stand still and keeps on trying to stay in the league. The most important thing is to keep trying to stay in the league."
