Norwich City, 15:15, November 25, 2009 ,

Norwich have moved into the transfer market to sign Peterborough United right-back Russell Martin on loan.

Canaries boss Paul Lambert has been searching for a new right-back for some time and is delighted to have landed Martin who will stay at Carrow Road until at least January.
"I had him as a player at Wycombe and he did brilliantly for me there," Lambert revealed. "When I was leaving Wycombe at the time he came to me and said he had the opportunity to join Peterborough, which he went on to do and again he has been brilliant for them.
"Captaining them to promotion shows he has resilience and that winning mentality which is what we have here. He is coming in to a vibrant squad and it is up to him now to stake his claim for a place in the team."
