Norwich new boy Sebastien Bassong has revealed the chance to work under Chris Hughton again was a key factor in his switch from Spurs.
The central defender knows how the Canaries boss likes to operate from his time at Newcastle after Hughton shelled out £500,000 to bring him to the North-East from French side Metz in the summer of 2008. The Cameroon international claims he didn't think twice about signing a three-year deal at Carrow Road once Tottenham had accepted an undisclosed bid from City for the 26-year-old's services. Bassong said: "Chris Hughton made a big difference for me in my choice. He was the first man to give me a training session in England when I came from France. "He knows me really well and so I am very happy to work for him again. "This is a really good thing for me."
