West Ham have reportedly had a £4.5m bid for Grant Holt rejected, with the in-demand striker looking all but certain to leave Norwich.

Holt had a transfer request turned down by the Canaries at the end of the season but looks set for the exit door with Aston Villa, and now recently-promoted West Ham, both keen on him.
Holt was Norwich's top-scorer and player of the season last term as his 15 goals helped Paul Lambert's side enjoy a fine campaign back in the Premier League but the Canaries have been placed into turmoil with the popular Scottish manager set to leave for Villa this weekend.
If that move is confirmed, then Lambert could take Holt with him to Villa Park although Norwich will not give up without a fight as they desperately try to keep hold of their star man.
Hammers boss Sam Allardyce is also keen and may return with an improved offer for the Englishman after having the £4.5million offer turned down, while several other Premier League managers will be monitoring his situation closely.
