Chris Hughton has backed new signings Robert Snodgrass and Michael Turner to make an immediate impact at Norwich this season.

Hughton has been relatively busy in the transfer market since taking over at Carrow Road, bringing in four new players as he looks to put his stamp on the Canaries squad. His most recent acquisitions have been Snodgrass from Leeds and Turner from Sunderland, both of who got a run out in the 0-0 pre-season friendly game at the MK Dons. With the start of the new Premier League season just over a week away Hughton says he has seen enough to suggest the duo will do well for Norwich. "I thought they both did well; Michael for a shorter period of time and Snodgrass probably just tired towards the end of the game," he told EDP 24. "He missed a few days of training during the period of time between leaving Leeds and coming to us, but what I think he did show was some of the qualities that he does have on that right-hand side. "I think he will be a very good addition for us. He is great at coming inside on his left and he showed that - whether it is from a wider area or more central. I'm quite sure there is a lot more from him to come and with Turner his experience is going to prove invaluable to us."
