Hughton can cope with added pressure

Norwich City, Latest news update:

Norwich boss Chris Hughton is aware of the importance of securing survival this season due to increased TV revenues.

The Canaries earned around £45million in their first campaign in the Premier League but under the new deal, which comes into force next season, even the team who finishes at the bottom of the table will earn more money in TV revenue than Manchester City did when they landed the title last season.
Hughton is well aware of the importance of retaining Norwich's Premier League status, but the Canaries boss insists everyone is in the same position and has no fears over his side's ability to handle the pressure.
"The finances next season are there for all to see," Hughton told the Pink' Un.
"It is just one added pressure to take on board. The biggest pressure is what you put on yourself. This is a club which has worked hard to stay in the Premier League and the pressure is to ensure you keep the team here.
"It has had a wonderful last three years after a difficult period. There was no doubt it was a good place to be when I came here in the summer. It felt very much like a club on the up when I joined.
"We just have to make sure we do the hard work to maintain that now."
Norwich have secured seven points from their last three games after a poor start to the season and travel to struggling Reading on Saturday.
