Elliott Bennett will miss Norwich's visit of QPR on Saturday, but new boys Sebastien Bassong and Javier Garrido could both start.
Winger Bennett has picked up a knee injury following his second half substitute appearance during last weekend's nightmare 5-0 opening day defeat at Fulham and he will not feature at Carrow Road on Saturday. However, boss Chris Hughton can call upon defensive duo Bassong, who joined from Tottenham on a three-year deal this week, and season-long loan signing, Garrido, after he secured international clearance to join from Italian outfit Lazio. Hughton said: "Both new lads will certainly feature in due course, whether it is this weekend is a decision I have to make. "They are now on board. What I was keen on with both of them was although they are foreign players they have experience of the Premier League. Irrespective of what player in what position you want competition and we will be healthier for it." The Canaries will still be without central defender Steven Whittaker, midfielders Jacob Butterfield and David Fox and defender Elliott Ward because of respective ankle, knee, knee and ankle injury problems.
