I've no desire to leave - Ruddy

John Ruddy has responded quickly to news linking him with a move to Aston Villa by confirming he has 'no desire' to leave Norwich.
There were several reports on Thursday suggesting the Canaries' number one goalkeeper was being lined up as a top summer target for former boss Paul Lambert, who left Carrow Road for Villa Park at the start of June, was looking to sign a long-term replacement for Shay Given at his new club. And, while it was claimed new City boss Chris Hughton would target Birmingham's teenage custodian Jack Butland if Ruddy departed for pastures new, it appears there will be no need to do so. Ruddy, who was replaced by Butland in Roy Hodgson's England squad after breaking his finger in the build up to Euro 2012, has just returned from his honeymoon. However, with regards to the exit rumours, he was quick to post on his Twitter Social Network site: "With regards to these rumours that everyone is tweeting me about I don't know where they have come from, I have no desire to leave NCFC."
