Lambert fails to kill off speculation
Paul Lambert refused to be drawn on speculation over his future as Norwich signed off the season with a 2-0 win over Aston Villa.
First-half goals from leading scorer Grant Holt and fellow striker Simeon Jackson made for a party atmosphere in the Norfolk sunshine as the Canaries finished on a high.
With Norwich doing so well in the top flight following back-to-back promotions, their manager has attracted attention from elsewhere, but the 42-year-old Scot was coy over his next move.
"I don't really worry about myself to be honest. I just worry about the team," he said. "Speculation doesn't really bother me - I just get on with it. You can never stop people speculating about your team or yourself."
Asked if he would still be with Norwich at the start of next season, Lambert said: "It is a hard one to answer that because I have a contract here and everyone is doing great in their respective jobs.
"I will get this season out of the road and then I will see what happens and think about what is going on and the achievements we have done and then we will see."
