Midfielder deal done

Norwich City, 16:06, June 29, 2009 ,

Simon Lappin has pledged his future to the club after penning a new two-year contract at Carrow Road.

The 26-year-old has revealed he never intended to jump ship following relegation to League One and is determined to help the Canaries get back into the Championship at the first attempt.
"I've said before that although it might not always be the case, I want to play every minute of every game and I've told the manager all along I want to play for Norwich," Lappin revealed.
"It's been a tough year but this is a challenge we're all looking forward to, and I just can't wait to get the season started. I want us to go back up to the Championship and we need to believe we can do that - there's no point in turning up if we don't believe we can do it.
"We've got a good enough squad of players and there'll be one or two additions as well, so we all have to believe we can go back up."
