Norwich City will be able to call on Kyle Naughton again against Manchester City but fellow defender Zak Whitbread will miss out.
Naughton was unavailable for Monday's shock win over Tottenham as he wasn't permitted to face his parent club as part of the terms of his loan agreement.
Whitbread also sat out the match as well as Saturday's 2-2 draw with Everton due to an ongoing calf problem and the Canaries are worried about doing more damage by risking him.
City boss Paul Lambert has already lost fellow defenders Marc Tierney and Daniel Ayala for the rest of the season.
The Scot has revealed that Tierney has had an operation on a long-standing groin problem and won't resume training again until pre-season.
Meanwhile, a specialist has checked over Ayala's knee and while surgery won't be required, he has been ordered to rest.
There is better news concerning James Vaughan however, the striker is set to make his comeback from a hamstring injury for the reserves next week.
