Roy Hodgson could give Norwich stopper John Ruddy his first cap this evening as England take on Italy in Switzerland.
The 25-year-old was included in England's Euro 2012 sqaud and travelled to the pre-tournament training camp but was forced home due to a broken finger.
Hodgson's side crashed out of the tournament held in Poland and Ukraine after a penalty shoot-out loss to tonight's opponents Italy in the quarter-finals.
Manchester City and England number one Joe Hart is out of contention for tonight's game, which paves the way for Ruddy to get his first International game between the sticks.
Ruddy joined Norwich back in 2010 and impressed during his first season in the Premier League to catch the eye of the England manager.
