Star drops move hint
Norwich striker Jamie Cureton is targeting a loan move away from Carrow Road as he struggles to hold down a regular place.
Cureton was a revelation last season when banging in 14 goals but has yet to find the back of the net during this campaign and has mainly had to settle for a place on the bench. The 33-year-old says he wants first-team action and admits a loan move away is a possibility. "Me and the manager spoke about maybe if it was right to go on loan, though no clubs were mentioned," he told BBC Radio Norfolk. "It was just a chat between me and him to see if it was best for me and the club. "The gaffer's understood my feelings. He was happy to have me here but if the right thing came up then we'd both look at it and go from there. It's probably been my most frustrating period in a long, long time. I've been sat around for what feels like ages."
