Striker aiming for promotion

Norwich City striker Chris Martin believes his side made 'a big statement' following their 5-0 victory against Colchester on Saturday.
The 21-year-old scored twice for the Canaries against the lacklustre Us helping his side to close the gap at the top to three points after Leeds shock defeat to Exeter.
The result was a stark contrast to the last time the teams met in August when Colchester ran out 7-1 victors at Carrow Road and shows just how far the side has come since Paul Lambert took over.
Martin told the Norwich Evening News that although there was an element of revenge in the performance the squad were driven on by the lure of promotion.
"They obviously remember it and the lads who played in it wanted to make sure we laid it to rest, and I think we made a big statement. But I think our motivation is promotion and that's a big motivation for anyone in this league," said the striker.
