Turner happy with recent form
Defender Michael Turner believes he is at last beginning to silence the doubters after a rocky start to his Norwich career.
Turner delivered a brilliant defensive performance in Norwich's first Premier League win of the season against Arsenal last weekend despite his name having been booed by some of the home fans prior to kick-off. Now he is hoping to show the consistency he displayed in 190 league matches for Hull City and Sunderland, starting with Saturday's visit to Aston Villa. Turner said: "It has been a bit of a sticky start. It has been frustrating, but to get that win was key for my confidence and that of the whole place. "You just have to work hard. I got my chance on Saturday and it was a great performance from the whole team. There are going to be tough times during the campaign. It's important when you have setbacks that you bounce back."
