Defender ready for debut
Nottingham Forest, 13:14, November 27, 2009 ,
On-loan defender Nicky Shorey is anxious to make up for lost time when he makes his Nottingham Forest debut against Doncaster tomorrow.
Shorey jumped at the chance to play first-team football after finding himself surplus to requirements at Aston Villa this season and is desperate to make a big impression at the City Ground against Rovers.
The former Reading star, who has joined Forest until the end of next month, will start at left back with Chris Cohen unavailable as he serves a one-match ban.
Dexter Blackstock could start in attack for the first time in a month after making a return to full fitness following a knee injury.
