Forest line-up Calderwood replacement

Former Newcastle boss Sam Allardyce is reportedly in the frame to take over from Colin Calderwood if Nottingham Forest sack him .

Calderwood has come under increasing pressure after a poor start to the season has left Forest rock-bottom of the Championship with five points from their opening 10 matches.

The Scottish manager has brushed off rumours he could be facing the sack but today's reports in The Sun that Allardyce is keen to revive the club to its former glories will not be music to Calderwood's ears.

A source close to Allardyce has revealed that Big Sam would jump at the opportunity to take over at the City Ground.

"He'd love to revive them," the source told The Sun.
