Foxes fail in Morgan bid
Nottingham Forest have turned down a bid from Leicester for defender Wes Morgan.
City boss Nigel Pearson has targeted Morgan to bolster his defence with Sol Bamba currently on international duty with the Ivory Coast and Sean St Ledger on the transfer list.
Forest have rebuffed the initial approach but will be braced for another offer with Morgan out of contract in the summer.
It is believed a bid of around £800,000 will be enough to land the 27-year-old centre-half.
City Ground manager Steve Cotterill has also been told he must sell players before he can add to his squad while the transfer window is open.
