Manager Steve Cotterill believes Nottingham Forest are virtually safe from relegation after victory over Peterborough.
Monday's 1-0 win edged the Reds seven points clear of the bottom three with just four matches remaining. Cotterill is keen for Forest to finish the season with a flourish and insists they owe their fans a home win following their support at London Road. "I think we are nigh-on safe now but we have our fans to play for. The supporters were tremendous (at Peterborough) and we thank them for their backing," said Cotterill following the game on Monday. "We would like to pay them back with a home win now. We know it will be a tough game against Blackpool on Saturday, but we owe the fans one for what they gave us at Peterborough. They were superb." Forest have not won at the City Ground since beating Millwall 3-1 on March 10. Their only other home win in 2012 was against Coventry (2-0) on February 18.
