Bring on the Wall!
Notts County have made an offer to Maidenhead United for striker Alex Wall, according to the non-League club.
Wall, 20, has been on trial with the Magpies and scored in a 1-0 friendly win against Kettering."Alex has done really well and Notts County have made us an offer," Maidenhead boss Johnson Hippolyte told the Evening Post "We're not a million miles away but we're not there yet, it's not a done deal."I've already spoken to (manager) Martin Allen and to their CEO (Jim Rodwell) and hopefully we can get things done quickly."He's done what they wanted and now we just want to get the deal done, he's already been there longer than agreed."Someone else has come in for Alex and wants to speak to him, so if we don't get things done with Notts County we'll call him back. That's what we've said to them."
