Notts County manager Keith Curle praised the special performance of his side as they edged an incredible encounter at Wycombe 4-3.
The Magpies came from behind three times before Alan Judge struck a spectacular winner in the third minute of stoppage time to keep their play-off hopes alive. Curle said: "Obviously I'm feeling elation right now, but I had to go through disappointment, anger, frustration, joy, happiness and disbelief - good and bad. "I said a couple of weeks ago that if we wanted to get promoted that we had to get something special out of that changing room and we got more than that. "It was probably not so much about the performance but the result, and it was frustrating at times because we had to chase the game so much. But sometimes you learn a lot from being behind and we've seen the players' reactions and their endeavour in their play, which is pleasing. "But sometimes you put yourselves on the front foot putting teams under pressure and our desire to put ourselves in the box to get on the end of things was fantastic, though I've never been involved in a game like that as a coach or manager before!"
