Hughes in Northern Ireland squad

Jeff Hughes has capped a terrific season at Notts County with a call up to the Northern Ireland squad.

Hughes has been selected by manager Michael O'Neill for the international friendly against Holland at the Amsterdam Arena on June 2. The 26-year-old midfielder received the manager's player of the year award this season after scoring 17 goals in 50 appearances for the Magpies. Hughes has previously represented his country on two occasions, following on from seven Under-21 caps.
