Magpies continue transfer frenzy

Notts County have continued a busy few days in the transfer market by signing French striker Yoann Arquin.

Arquin, who spent last season at Hereford, has signed a one-year deal with the option of a second season. The 24-year-old becomes the third new arrival at Meadow Lane this week, following midfielder Joss Labadie and defender Manny Smith through the door at Meadow Lane. Arquin told the club's official website: "I'm really happy to be here, it's a nice place and hopefully everybody has a good season. "The manager told me the club are very ambitious and looking to go up straight away and after that I had a good feeling about the club."
