Magpies to host Bantams

Notts County have been handed a home draw against Bradford in the first round of the Capital One Cup.

Keith Curle's side will host the Bantams in the week commencing August 13. However, if mutually agreed, the Football League will consider requests to play on Saturday, August 11th or Sunday, August 12. The tie will bring back memories of the opening day of the 2009/10 season when Lee Hughes scored a hat-trick on his Magpies debut in a 5-0 victory over the west Yorkshire club. Bradford finished 18th in npower League Two last season while County narrowly missed out on the League One play-offs.
