Zoko completes County switch

Notts County have completed the signing of striker Francois Zoko from Carlisle on a two-year deal.

Zoko, who scored 14 goals for Carlisle last season, turned down a new contract at Brunton Park over the summer and has spent the close season considering his options. The 29-year-old will now join up with the Notts squad when they return from their summer training camp in Spain, after putting pen-to-paper at Meadow Lane on Friday afternoon. Zoko is the 10th new player to arrive at Meadow Lane this summer as manager Keith Curle looks to build a squad capable of improving on last season's seventh-placed finish in npower League One.
