Javier Culson has warned home favourite Dai Greene that he is ready to win gold and ruin the Welshman's Olympics.
The Puerto Rican is currently the world leader in the 400m hurdles, having run 47.78 seconds at the recent Diamond League meeting at Crystal Palace and is seen as Greene's biggest challenger. Victory in London would see the Team GB captain complete an historic clean sweep having already won world, European and Commonwealth gold. However, Culson isn't getting distracted by the furore surrounding his rival and is confident he can claim top honours, as long as he focuses on his own race. "I'm feeling very healthy and ready to win gold physically and mentally," said Culson. "I respect Greene because he is last year's world champion and he is very strong. "But I'm just thinking about my own race. That's the important thing. My own race."
