Astana has no plan for Armstrong

Astana has denied it is in the process of tempting seven-time winner Lance Armstrong into a Tour de France comeback.

Reports in American claim the 36-year-old, who has reinstated himself in the US anti-doping agency's out-of-competition testing pool, is considering a return to cycling and an eighth shot at the title.
However, Astana team manager, Johan Bruyneel, who presided over the Texan's Tour wins from 1999-2005, told cyclingnews.com: "I don't know where the rumours come from."
Astana spokesman Philippe Maertens added. "He is not part of our team. Team Astana has no plans with him."
