'Barnstorming' Hatton out to make amends

Ricky Hatton has promised his fans they will get the usual "barnstorming" fight from him when he faces Paulie Malignaggi on Saturday.
Hatton is back fighting in the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas this weekend - the scene of his defeat to Floyd Mayweather 12 months ago - as he prepares to take on Malignaggi for the IBF light-welterweight title.
'The Hitman' is keen to make amends for the Mayweather defeat and has assured his fans he will approach the fight this weekend in the same way he always does.
"It will be just the usual Ricky Hatton barnstorming fight," he said. "I'm going to be all over him like a rash. I won't be taking any backward steps. It will be the same old Ricky Hatton.
"The day Ricky Hatton fans leave a fight without being entertained is the day I hang up my gloves.
"I'm still going to be the same old aggressive Ricky Hatton but I have polished my performance a bit in some areas and I expect that to be the difference come Saturday."
