Jones Jnr asks can Calzaghe cope

Roy Jones Jnr has insisted all the pressure will be on unbeaten Joe Calzaghe when they clash in New York City on Saturday.

American great Jones Jnr, who at his peak was unquestionably the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world, believes he will leave Madison Square Garden with his legacy intact, win or lose, but feels Calzaghe will be anxious to preserve his unblemished 45-0 record in the final fight of his much-decorated career.
"A loss for Joe would be much more significant to him than a win would be for me," the Floridan told a press conference.
"Winning would be good for me but losing would really ruin his record. To lose to just one man, well, you would have to love being that one man."
He added: "It (pressure) isn't all on Joe because people are paying to see me fight too and I have to keep up my end too but there's more pressure on him.
"Nothing that happens in this fight can take away from my legacy I might be able to add to it if I pull off this upset but that's the only thing that will happen to it.
"To have a fighter as good as Joe is, for him come out say how good I am and to challenge me, because he says I am one of the best, means a lot.
"When another top class fighter says that, it tells you that I don't need to add to my legacy.
"He is telling you all about it because he already knows how good I am."
