Pacquiao too strong for Cotto

Manny Pacquiao claimed a seventh world title in seven weight divisions with a devastating win over Miguel Cotto in Las Vegas.
The Filipino superstar stopped his Puerto Rican opponent in the 12th round of their WBO welterweight showdown at the MGM Grand to cement his status as the best fight in the world.
The 30-year-old had Cotto down in the third and fourth rounds and referee Kenny Bayless stopped the breathless encounter 55 seconds into the final round of an enthralling contest.
Pacquiao - now 50 wins, three defeats and two draws with 38 knockouts - said: "I was looking for a knockout shot, that's why I didn't throw a lot of punches.
"It was timing and in the last minute I hit a good punch with the right hook."
"I didn't know from where the punches were coming," Cotto said.
"Manny Pacquiao is one of the best boxers I ever fought."
