British runner Mo Farah has insisted he has done his homework on his competitors ahead of the 10,000m final.

The experienced runner was undone in the final of the World Championships in Daegu last season, when Ethiopia's Ibrahim Jeilan beat him to the line with a surprising sprint which caught the Brit off guard. However, Farah has done his research on all his rivals for the 10,000m final on Saturday night and is determined to avoid a repeat of the World Championships. He said: "I won't be surprised. "Last year it was because I had never heard of Jeilan. I was thinking about (Imane) Merga and the rest of the guys. "In that race I was beaten by the better man on the day. He did everything right, I did 99% right, but it was that 1% where you didn't think about that guy and that was the difference. "We have to do our homework and everything that we can."
