WBO look into Pacquiao controversy
Timothy Bradley's controversial win over Manny Pacquiao last weekend will be investigated by the World Boxing Organisation.
The Filipino lost out on a split decision with two judges giving Bradley the fight 115-113 and a third scoring 115-113 for Pacquiao.
However, many seasoned observers maintained Pacquiao should have retained his WBO welterweight title after Bradley stepped up to challenge him.
Now a statement from the WBO has confirmed its Championship Committe will "evaluate the fight".
The statement continued: "[The Championships Committee] will meet soon and examine the video of the fight with five renowned international judges, and according to what is found, it will make its recommendation in accordance with the rules."
Pacquiao has a rematch clause in his contract from the original fight.
