Ball signs up for Cod Army

Peterborough striker David Ball has joined npower League Two new-boys Fleetwood for an undisclosed fee, subject to a medical.

Ball has signed a three-year deal with the Cod Army. The former Manchester City youngster scored nine goals in 41 appearances for Posh after joining them from Eastlands in January 2011. The 22-year-old scored three goals in a total of 14 appearances for Rochdale in two separate loan spells at Spotland last season.
