Ferguson buoyed by Newell

Peterborough manager Darren Ferguson believes teenager Joe Newell could be the natural replacement for George Boyd.
Boyd is likely to be sold in the summer after turning down the offer of a new contract and Ferguson sees homegrown talent Newell as one of his options to fill Boyd's boots.
Just like Boyd, who has made 259 appearances during a five-year Posh career that has featured three promotions, Newell is a stylish left-footed player.
The 19 year-old made his fifth start for the club in the disappointing home defeat to Nottingham Forest on Monday.
Following the game, Ferguson said: "I would say Joe is the natural replacement for George. Of course George might not go anywhere, but we all know the situation there and what could happen in the summer.
"There are other players out there who we are looking at but I think it is only a matter of time before Joe establishes himself in the team. He is a really good player who has had to be patient and he coped well even though it was a bad day for him to play given our overall performance."
