Boss Darren Ferguson has moved to solve Peterborough's goalkeeping crisis by bidding for an unnamed shot-stopper.
With three-time promotion winner Joe Lewis leaving London Road at the end of his contract and last season's number one Paul Jones yet to accept a new deal, Ferguson needs to draft in a new keeper as a matter of urgency. He told the Evening Telegraph: "We have made a bid for a goalkeeper so we will wait and see what happens there. "We have been negotiation with Paul for a good while and nothing has happened on that front so far but I'm not in the least bit worried about the situation."
