Posh eye Washington

Peterborough have handed a trial to St Ives striker Conor Washington.

Washington, who scored 52 goals in 50 games United Counties Premier League games last season, will train with the academy players at Posh for the remainder of the week after linking up with the npower Championship club on Wednesday.
The 19-year-old still has a year remaining on his contract with St Ives and is also wanted by Blue Square Bet Premier club Cambridge and League Two side Dagenham.
