Posh raid Poppies for new boss
Peterborough United, 19:07, November 13, 2009 ,
Kettering boss Mark Cooper has agreed a three-and-half-year deal to take over as Peterborough United manager.
Cooper had emerged as a leading candidate to replace the outgoing Darren Ferguson in the past 24 hours after his current chairman Imraan Ladak confirmed that he held talks with the London Road outfit. And it has now been confirmed that he will take over the Championship's bottom club on Monday.
Cooper is still set to take charge of the Poppies for the final time when they face Cambridge in the Blue Square Premier Division on Saturday.
