Bairns linked with Plymouth pair

Plymouth Argyle, 14:05, January 25, 2010 ,

Falkirk have been linked with Plymouth striker's Steve MacLean and Alan Gow.

Both players have struggled to gain a place in the Argyle first team this season and have been linked to a number of clubs in Scotland during the current transfer window.
However, a move to the Bairns is unlikely as Falkirk currently sit bottom of the SPL and the players are said to be reluctant to sign for a team threatened with relegation.
MacLean who has recently been on trial at Hearts, hasn't played for the Devon club since September and manager Paul Mariner last month revealed the former Cardiff man is no longer in his plans.
Gow signed for Plymouth from Rangers in the summer but hasn't started since November, making a handful of substitute appearances, has also been the subject of interest from Hibs.
