Plymouth owner James Brent will open contract negotiations with manager Carl Fletcher after Argyle secured their Football League survival over the weekend.

A 1-1 draw with Oxford at Home Park ensured the Pilgrims will be playing in npower League Two again next season and Brent, who saved the club from liquidation following his takeover in October, has said he will be happy to talk terms with Fletcher now the club's immediate future is secure.
He told BBC Spotlight: "The football management team and staff have achieved what many people, who know a lot about football, told me was unachievable.
"I can't believe there is any other manager in the Football League who has shown greater passion and commitment to achieve than Carl has.
"While we were focused on avoiding relegation we wouldn't discuss next season.
"Now we've avoided relegation we're very keen to start discussions with him to see if there is a basis where we are both happy to move forward."
