Plymouth have been handed a major boost by the news striker Rory Fallon has signed a new two-and-a-half year deal at Home Park.
The 26-year-old New Zealander was tipped for a move away from Home Park as his current contract was set to expire in the summer. However Fallon has opted to stay put with Paul Sturrock's men, with whom he has been an influential player this term.
"I've just signed a new two-and-a-half year deal and I'm happy," Fallon told the club's official website.
"It has been going on for a few weeks now and I just know that I need to be in Plymouth. I didn't get sidetracked by anything else because I felt I needed another two years here.
"I am happy here and you can't put a price on happiness. If you are happy and doing everything right outside of football, it comes back onto the pitch.
"Hopefully in the next two years, we could be in the Premiership - you just don't know."
