Plymouth boss Carl Fletcher expressed his delight as his side notched their first League Two win of the season by beating Northampton 3-2 at Home Park.
Home striker Warren Feeney cancelled out Alex Nicholls' 26th-minute opener with a deft header to level in the 47th minute.
Debutant Rhys Griffiths, on as a half-time sub, made it 2-1 in the 59th minute and Curtis Nelson headed Argyle 3-1 up before Town central defender David Artell headed a stoppage-time goal.
Fletcher said: "It's always good to get your first league win. You get it, it's done and dusted, and then you can move on to the next one. We are looking forward to a good game at Torquay next week.
"I am pleased for the lads because we have had some long away games and played lots of games in a short space of time and you can see what a good and well organised side Northampton are, and they will be there or thereabouts come the end of the season.
"So it was good to get a home win against them."
