Port Vale boss Micky Adams is not expected to make too many changes for his side's Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie against Tranmere.

Adams has named an unchanged starting XI for all four of Vale's npower League Two fixtures.
His side has won seven points from those games and Adams is keen to maintain some kind of consistency and continuity.
He said: "I have emphasised to the boys that I don't want us to switch off mentally just because it is a cup competition which generally doesn't attract too many fans."
Gareth Owen is fit again after a hamstring injury and Adams could use the first round clash to give the defender his first outing of the season. Likewise for left-sided player Rob Taylor who has only recently returned from a calf problem.
Defender Adam Yates, midfielders Ryan Burge and Ryan Lloyd and striker Ben Williamson could also come into the frame for starts.
